When I am able to fly to Saudi Arabia with my bible ... A nation goes to war against an ideology. And that's what we've been talking about here today. ... We are against something that is a totalitarian theocratic political ideology and it is called "Islam". This is not about muslims. ...Not every german was a nazi. If we continue on in this politically correct multiculturalism atmosphere that's on steroids, we are paralysing ourselves from taking the right and proper action. We see what has happened in Sudan. We see what is happening in Austria. We know about Geert Wilders in the Netherlands. We know what's happening in Denmark. Trend analysis is what we called it. There's nothing wrong with it. And for you all that are here in the media stop calling it profiling. It's about identifying the enemy and what they are doing and going after them. When I was a commander in Iraq I knew that young men on dirt bikes were coming out of the groves to lay out IED's and attack us. I was not going to chase women in burkhas in the middle of the night in their houses. It's trend analysis. Stop being politically correct. Stop allowing them to come into our country. If you do not understand that the reality of your enemy must become your own, we can continue in this state of denial. When I read the Fort Hood attack based upon what Major Hassan did I was absolutely appalled. When I stood there and watched the Sunday show, where general Casey, Chief of Staff for the Army, said he was more so concerned about diversity being a casualty than the loss of the thirteen soldiers at Fort Hood Texas, we have problems in the leadership in these United States of America. We must accept their reality.
A self-id'ed Democrat and potential constituent referred to the "taliban" wing of the republican party.
I corrected her and said it is the "old guard". What I didn't say is it's insulting we in America liken neighbors of different political parties to a group that's killing our soldiers.
As usual I have no idea of the sincerity but she seemed sincere.
It is discouraging to see ignorance and the need for education.
She is also not concerned about immigration - only the cost - and "thanks God" no appropriation exists in the MN AZ-styled bill. She thinks we don't need to worry about Mexicans like AZ. I remind her the immigration laws cover every nationality.
The link above is for the potential constituent I met this weekend.
Note Obama's Justice head Eric Holder is in Africa today, a potential quagmire of clashing cultures of it's own. As usual the administration is on the wrong side, paying $23million to Kenyan candidates who want a constitutional provision to codify Kadhi Courts (Sharia law) in Kenya!
Jason Lewis is wrong to refute war because it is ideological as he did last week. That's the nature of war. When we have an Iran, North Korea, Syria, and Saudi Arabia with no terror sponsorship, human rights, democratic open principles, womans rights, a productive energy interest as opposed to a thinly veiled war-oriented interest in nuclear energy, with no Sharia courts subverting the society(as Obama encouraged in Kenya), and hatred free school lessons then we can treat these nations as equals and live alongside them as neighbors. But not until the nations grow up and adopt these principles in their nations. In the meantime we remain prepared for war but do not initiate war. And we must repel the critically misguided influence and threats of these nations.
In regard to Calderon addressing congress, he is responsible for the continued low-wage-level opportunities in Mexico even after NAFTA-inspired 1990’s expectation that Mexico would improve their infrastructure and schools. So this picture is despicable:
